How to Join Lakeshore Presbyterian Church
All are welcome to worship and serve God at Lakeshore Church. Worship is at 10:00 A.M. Sunday mornings. Visitors tend to like the old favorite hymns, the warm welcome and the clear helpful sermons they find in worship. A part of the service that everyone appreciates is hearing the Assurance of Pardon when the pastor says, “We are all loved and we are all forgiven.” That true statement allows us to walk with God on Sunday morning and throughout the week. We are a church of forgiven sinners.
Anyone can join Lakeshore Church by expressing that desire to the Pastor. When there are two or more who want to join the church, the Pastor holds a class for new members in which the history, beliefs and mission of Lakeshore Church are discussed. After the class those who still wish to join are welcomed to do so upon public proclamation of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the head of Lakeshore Church, and all members seek to discover Jesus’ will for them and for the Church.
Some active worshipers chose not to join the Church. That is fine. They remain part of the Church Family, and receive the same services as Church members. We are the Body of Christ, and we are one body as we seek to serve and follow Jesus Christ.
